One of the reasons I fell in love with photography in high school was to capture the beauty of flowers. They have such a short life span to begin with that photography felt like a way to capture the delicate details for a little bit longer.
It has been fun to return to one of my original hobbies, with the bonus of being able to capture the flowers that we have worked so hard on growing through tough spring conditions.
Oh, and a peony for good measure!
