There is nothing quite like stepping into a vibrant flower field on a warm August day. The buzz of bees, the fresh country air, and rows upon rows of colorful blooms waiting to be transformed into a bouquet—it’s pure summer magic.
We are so excited to announce that our 2026 U-Pick Flower Season officially kicks off on Friday, August 7th!
Whether you’re planning a peaceful solo morning, an evening outing with friends, or a weekend family trip, here is everything you need to know about visiting the farm this season.
What’s Blooming in the Field?
This year, our rows are packed with local summer and early autumn favorites. When you visit, you’ll be cutting from three stellar varieties:
- Show-Stopping Dahlias: Bold, intricate, and vibrant—these are the undisputed stars of late summer!
- Classic Zinnias: Bright, cheerful, and packed with color to give your vase an instant pop.
- Whimsical Cosmos: Delicate, airy, and full of effortless farm-fresh charm.
Dates, Hours & Location
Our U-Pick field will be open on select dates throughout August (September dates to be posted soon too!):
- Friday Evenings in August: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday Mornings in August: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
(Opening Weekend: Friday, August 7 & Saturday, August 8!)
Why We Limit Tickets (And How It Works)
To make sure your visit is relaxing and uncrowded—and to protect our stems so every visitor gets access to prime blooms—we limit each session to just 30 bouquet tickets.
- 1 Ticket = 1 Bouquet: You only need to purchase tickets for the number of bouquets you want to make. Family members, partners, and friends are welcome to accompany you into the field!
- Reserve Early: Because spots are capped per session, popular golden-hour shifts fill up quickly. We highly recommend booking your date in advance online!
How to Prepare for Your Visit
We want your time on the farm to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Here is a quick packing checklist:
- Wear Sturdy, Closed-Toe Shoes: You’ll be walking on natural, uneven terrain. Tennis shoes or sturdy boots are best. Pro-tip: If it has rained in the days leading up to your visit, definitely pack a pair of mud boots!
- Bring Bug Spray & Water: Mosquitos love the flower rows as much as we do (especially during our 5–8 PM evening shifts). Don’t forget your bug spray and a filled water bottle to stay hydrated.
